I made a strategic decision in 2002 to leave my partnership in a large Human Capital firm to start Hire Results Ltd because I saw so many of our clients struggling to make the right hire – even with the use of online assessment tools. My idea was a simple one. Why not allow clients and candidates to move past the interview and get into the key elements of the job – as if they were working together. What we experienced immediately were clients reducing their emotional hiring decisions and using logic and structure to better understand candidate’s capabilities for the specific role they were applying for. Since those first Simulation Assessment back in 2002 until now we have honed our process, developed innovative delivery software tools, streamlined our scoring process and experience client after client making profitable hiring decisions.
At Hire Results, we continue to break new ground with our clients by helping them to observe and assess candidates in Simulation Assessments. Traditional hiring processes needed to be changed – we changed them by allowing clients to see candidates in action – as if they are on the job today! The end results are reflected on our clients’ bottom line, through the acquisition of new employees who are positively impacting their business. In many instances these results are produced by candidates who typically would have been passed over due to the candidates not being a “good interviewers”. Interview skills have very little to do with a candidates ability to execute on the job!
